That’s the estimated number of men, women and children slaughtered throughout China, all in the name of Communism, all in the name of anti-religion.

It's not known how many of those were Roman Catholics, who numbered 5 million at the time of the Communist takeover in 1949.

And that exact number will never be known. But there were many. So very many.

Why is this story important to Catholics and non-Catholics alike?

It shows that Communists willingly exterminate anyone who opposes the propagation of Communism, the culture of death.

And what they've done to Roman Catholics since the 1930s, long before the establishment of the regime in Beijing, is only an indication of what they'll do as they march forward, subtly spreading Communism throughout the world.
